Nickel, tomorrows Silver?

I am wondering, do you think Nickel will be a good investment for the next year or so, for a long term (10-20 year) investment, or should I stick with Silver? We already buy a little Gold and Palladium, and want more Silver, but I'm reading stuff online that makes me wonder about Nickel to image

    Nickel? Oh, I though you meant nickels (as in coins). The poor man's hard money, worth 6.1 cents at the moment. image

    I think diversifying into base metals makes sense, as long as you own some precious ones also.

    stainless steel - usually attractive, and corrosion-resistant
