But Hawks guard Jason Terry said the Heat has no chance: ``They know they are not going to the playoffs, and you can tell them I said that, especially Pat Riley. We aren't going, and they aren't going. You can't wait until the end of the season to make a run. You have to be realistic.''


Tough words coming from a man that have never made the playoffs and in his 3rd season only. It seems like he thinks he’s a veteran. He doesn’t know who he’s talking to. Come on..its riley. One of the best coaches and been in the league long enough to know what he’s doing..

Also, the heat has 11 games left and just 3 games behind indy for the 8th seed. How is that not realistic?

And no offense to u represent cards..

    um... Terry was RIGHT... listen to what he said, The heat and the hawks wont make the playoffs. That will be a true statement.

    Jason Terry is one hell of a ball-player man, no wannabe!
    his team is losing because they have a lot of injuries (Ratliff, Crawford, Glover, Davis)
    if jason & reef can develop just a liiiiitle bit more and they get to know each other better on the court, and ratliff gets back, THEN this team could be a very good one

    Me being from Georgia and me being a Hawks fan since the 80's when Dominique Wilkins, The Human Highlight Reel was kicking serious ass, I'll have to say that Jason Terry is a great leader like Nique was. Yeah, he IS right about what he said. The Heat nor the Hawks will make the playoffs, so there's really nothing else you can say about it.

    I believe that the Hawks will be a much better team next year, possibly making the playoffs. Hawks have had many many injuries this season and that's why they haven't had a better record. Crawford and Ratliff with both be back next season and we all know Theo Ratliff will be a major factor. Add in the leadership of Jason Terry, the great forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim, DerMarr Johnson's 3 point capabilities, and a high draft pick, and we're set to go. I believe that the Hawks need one more key player to be behind Terry and Shareef and they'll be a team to content with. Hell, the Hawks have already beaten some great teams including my Lakers, Blazers, and I believe they beat Portland as well. I have high hopes for Atlanta next season. image
