Serbia price please

I have a 1915 50 para coin. Listed as KM#24.3. It is the one with just the prviy marks, no mint mark and coin rotation with the designers name in fine-very fine. There is no listing for values on this coin in Kraus. Any idea as to it's rarity or value? Thanks, Olmanjon

Kuhli is our resident expert on that region. Here's an old thread where he lists what the Serbian Numismatic Society's catalog lists for 1915. I seem to recall him saying once that this is a screw up in Krause, there are only the two 50p varieties (as listed there): w & w/o the "Schwartz" below the bust - that seems to reflect what I've seen. I don't think there's much difference in value between the actual existing varieties, as for scarcity, I can't really say.

Yep, definitely a Krause screw up. Here's the relevant section... what the hell is a date of "A"?? and what's the difference between KM 24.3 and 24.5?? This is just something they fell asleep on. (pic from 2010 SCWC)

Thanks Spoon-really appreciate the reply. There is such a wealth of knowledge on this board. It's great when there is a response to questions that the rest of us novices don't know the answer to. Thanks again, Olmanjon
