how much will this impact grading?

I have an oversized card, 4"x6" that arrived with a very slight bend. The bend while not sharp, is noticeable. Shipper encased it in cardboard, but the cardboard was not solid as it was part of a flap and thus the weakest point...needless to say, further sending it in a flimsy envelope sealed the fate of the card as it processed.

My ? is, if I submit the card, how much of a grading risk will I be taking? The entire card looks great, with the exception of about a 2" bend. It's subtle, but nonetheless is easily seen.

The card is not expensive...am I just better off getting another when one comes up?

My guess is they will see it as a crease. If it is not an expensive card track down another. Can you flatten it out and remove the bend or will that damage it even worse?

you could always soak and dry as a means to remove the bend...
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
