VCP surface wrinkles GEHRIG

Just picked this up. It does have a very faint surface wrinkle (I think that's what it is), but it seems very nice for a "2".
Does a surface wrinkle automatically take it down to a "2", or can a 3 have a surface wrinkle? I am not even sure if this is a surface wrinkle, but it does have a blemish faint line (can see under my magnifying glass, but not otherwise). Also, does anyone know difference in prices between a 2 and a 3 for VCP? It's definetely the nicest 2 i have seen and better than most 3s I see.

Appears to be at least three surface wrinkles/creases (see inside ovals on image below) on the front viewable in the scan. There may be others and then there's the back . . .

Nice R320 Gehrig, Front looks undergraded for sure, Ive seen wrinkles and light corner dings on some R319/R320 cards up to a 4 grade. Your card has a couple slight stains, wrinkles (dont really see them in the scan, but can guess where they might be), and the registration is slightly off, but still it looks to be a VG+ card IMO.

What about the back, any scuffs? erased marks? problems?

Definitely a nice looking PSA 2. I have had cards with surface wrinkles come back PSA 5. Paper loss seems to be an automatic PSA 2. Perhaps the back has a little paper loss.

No paper loss on back, but a little staining. Seeing vcp, i did pay at high range of 2 though at $687, but less than 3's, so i guess i was right where it should be for price.
