I've seen 4-5 of these before and they always sell around $500 no matter the spot price $10-$25. I used to own a Johnson Matthey bar exactly like this one and I've seen others of them as well. They are legit and quite nice IMO. If it were a bit cheaper I'd pick it up.

I don't collected holed, repaired, tooled, harshly cleaned coins, either. So why would I do likewise with collectible silver bars?
Without ever having seen another one, that just doesn't look right.

These bars are tough to find and I classify them as boardering on rare.
These were made for the Canadian market .... but were not very popular.
They do get pricey ........
