any interest in custom cut mats for raw cards, slabs, pics, cuts, etc?

I have about $1000 of custom framing that i am going to need done in a next year and most of that cost is actually due to cost of buying big mats with upwards of a dozen openings since I use cheap, basic metal frames that dont cost much. To save some cash, I decided to buy a mat cutter so I can cut my own mats on the cheap. That way, I would just have to buy the cheap metal frames and glass/acrylic.
I was thinking about attempting to make a little extra cash cutting custom mats for people. Obviously, cheap mats for 8x10s, etc, can be bought at most framing shops. But I was thinking there may be interest in mats with holes for raw cards, slabs, pics, cut signatures, or random combinations of those. You could then get frames at a standard frame place for the same cost that I would. Or to save a little effort, I could buy the frame pieces (precut black or white edges from about 5-36 inches are easy to find, you would just need to get glass/acrylic) and ship them also. But most Michaels or ACMoore carry them.
So, I guess my question is, if I can keep costs fair, would there be any interest out there in this kind of work? At this time, I can ship mats up to 16x20 with USPS free priority boxes laid flat. I still need to search around for boxes that will fit bigger mats.
I am not looking for committments or confirmations right now, just looking into basic interest levels in the idea. But, if you know now something you may want feel free to mention it so I can see if its doable.

Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed!!
- I would encourage all collectors to post a video of their collection - I have found it to be a very rewarding way to share my sports cards!!
<< <i>Good idea! Would be helpful if you could post a picture of what you are talking about after you make a sample or two... >>
I agree. I might be interested in giving you some business, but I need to see some examples of your work, and some rough pricing numbers.
