Anyone bid on Stack's Auction?

I overpaid clearly (or maybe not in this wacky market) yet added this 1628 Leopold V Taler, scarcer date. NGC Graded AU-58.

I guess this is what happens when one can not find decent Talers for quite some time.

I had put a bid in on the 1702 Vigo Shilling but got left in the dust. That's a nice Taler though.
  • I picked up this inexpensive Conder and was out bid on 2-3 medals.

    I won 1 out of 3 lots.
  • I put in several bids on the 1834 Chile gold 8 escudos, a type I've wanted for awhile, but came up short.
  • I had to turn loose two medals I really wanted when they went well over estimate.

Small stuff; for most folks-an Elizabeth 11 Maundy set and an album of uncirculated Canada dimes-hoping, of course, to find
a few gems with great toning....
No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey.
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.

Lost out on a Kilenyi medal (lightside). I thought I had won on internet bidding, but there appears to have been vigorous mail bids.

Or care to guess which lot I won? 1:1 on bidding, higher than I wanted to go, but something that would have haunted me if it wasn't mine all mine.

I went higher than I though I would have to but, I'm relatively sure that I still got it right($)!

Picked up the coin at Stack's office. Painful tax slapped on making this even worse.
