ebay scammer to block donut13666

I emailed the seller and rec'd "Excuse me?" as a response. I then asked if pack pulled or they bought these cards. Doubt I'll get a response.

The Stargell card specifically says that the jersey was worn in 1968. The patch on the card is the one the Pirates wore in the late '80s until the '90s.
He used the same patch for 2 cards/players. Dont be a fool, stay in scammer school.

So you're saying that the seller altered these 2 cards by replacing a different patch. Is this something that PSA would always catch at grading?
This is why I avoid patch related cards for the most part.

Yes it appears he altered them. Not sure if PSA has always catched them. Sounds nearly impossible. But I have never seen a fake patch card in a PSA slab. Scratch that, there was a YouTube video of a guy who had some fake 2005 Prime patches in slabs... Alot of the more recent issues state Jersey or Patch. I know 2005 Prime patches does and that's a heavily faked set but easily detected. Some older issues say Jersey but a patch was sometimes issued. That is where alot of problems arise. Other times, like in 2005 Bowman Draft, the card says jersey but the jock tag was cut up and inserted as well. Then again another issue (2007 BDP IIRC) stated patch or jersey but they flip flopped what they contained.
If the company is well versed on the issue they could catch fakes, as well as noticing damage around the swatch window or evidence the card was altered another way or doing research on the patch to see if it fits, if the patch swatch had enough distinguishing marks.
Reminds me of this scammer. Using the same tag for 2 cards. He was caught and mailed me the cards to destroy.
Completed my Clemente Basic Registry (2007 - 2014)!
