Strange ebay situation with changed shipping prices

After someone here posted how to prevent buyers from changing shipping prices, I noticed that someone didn't pay for shipping and it showed up as "free shipping" in the feedback section but the description clearly has shipping listed. Anyone else ever have that happen?

The description has nothing to do with what the buyer pays (or is auto-charged) for shipping. You have to also put in a shipping charge when completing the listing. Ebay I believe defaults it to free.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
  • this happened to me after i did not sell for a while, when the auction was over i went to send an invoice to the buyer and on the older invoices it transfered the ship prices you quoted and all you did is send the inv. what changed is the blank shipping box above your quote, if you fail to fill that out or remove it and send an invoice the ship price shows as free, i had to write the buyers and explain that the free ship price was for pick up only, good thing they understood,, bj
