HITH do you Price the Never been Sold?

Afternoon,

Have an interested party for the following recent Poppage, but have no idea what to ask and they haven't offered a Sell price, want an me to offer a price to start negotiations. Perhaps VCP could help, I have never asked for anybody to look up stuff for me before, so maybe this once? There is no SMR or Recent E-Bay Sales.

NEAR MINT 7 1971 MILK DUDS COMPLETE BOX 24 JIM PERRY
NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1971 MILK DUDS COMPLETE BOX 10 DAVE McNALLY 1/1 Highest Graded, closest being a EX-MT 6
GEM MINT 10 1971 MILK DUDS COMPLETE BOX 12 ALEX JOHNSON 1/1 Highest Graded, closest being a NM 7
NEAR MINT-MINT+ 8.5 1971 MILK DUDS COMPLETE BOX 16 JIM FREGOSI 1/1 Highest,Graded, closest being a NM 7
GEM MINT 10 1971 MILK DUDS COMPLETE BOX 4 FELIX MILLAN 1/1 Highest Graded, closest being a NM-MT 8


A Millan NM-MT 8 sold for $38.88, what does that make the only GEM 10 worth, three grades higher? The rest? Any help would be appreciated!

I want to be fair but also want to make some money...Yes really!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be honest I don't even know where to start!

Any help would be appreciated.

    No way to tell Neil. I would list them on 10 day auctions and let 'em fly. Let the current market determine the value.

    in situations like this, the first person to name a price loses.

    That's Ok Bill, I'm leaning towards the 10 day let it fly, maybe start with two, a NM-MT 8 and a GEM MINT 10 when I get them. I am Ok with whatever happens, so tell the little guys no thanks!!

    I agree 100%. Use a 10 auction with $0.99. Anytime there is no known market price just let the battle begin and make one.

    I just sold an extremely rare wrestling magazine with paper cards in it. It went for $162 and was really the first one of these to sell in auction over EBAY.

    I think you will get much more then a number you are comfortable throwing out to this prospective buyer.
