The Pittsburgh Post Gazette spent the Summer covering the '60 Pirates

Much better than covering the '10 Pirates. I could watch this stuff all day. Link
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

Thanks for sending the link. Today is the 50th anniversary of the defeat of the mighty Yankees. I was in the third grade in Pgh and we were not allowed to have transistor radios in class. I still remember the roar when they won and the celebration afterwards.

OH what memories the 7th game brought back.I grew up in Northeast Detroit and was 11 years old at the time and my buddies and I were loitering just hanging around outside of a telivision store on Gratiot and 6 mile and were watching the game from outside the store when Maz hit his homer. We were happy. We all hated the yanks at that time.

By the way your link was image

Can't wait to see the original broadcast that was pulled out of Bing Crosby's basement a few weeks back. MLB Network will carry it but I'm sure it will wind up on DVD too.
