  • autos will always keep value. i think upperdeck making 3 versions of every rc is stupid. game used is on teh way down. they are making to much of it. its like pulling a regular insert now.
i am collecting 8x10 autos, auto replica jerseys and other auot memrobilia, i have a few cards left im trying to sell cheap please email me for the list theres only about 8 to 10 left. thanks

  • In my opinion only autos of legends and rookies will hold their values. Game-Used will PLUMETT.

  • very soon in the future, every card in a set will have an auto/jsy and be #d and graded..............even the commons, lolimage

  • All new products accept for rookie cards will take a hit. Imagine how many kobe autographs there are out there. Now imagine more and more every year when each new product comes out. Eventually, there will be alot more, driving the price down. Plus alot of people only want the new version, or an old rare version, driving the price even furthur down for the others. It'll drop even more for those players who have autos relased by every company, not just those big name players who have exclusive deals with manufactures.

  • I also forsee the rapid value decrease of Vince Carter Game-Used items. It semms like every box of Fleer now has a Carter GU. Very bad idea.

  • Rookies and very rare cards like 1/1 and cards #ed under lets say..25 will hold their value if the player stays in the favor of collectors. Its not gonna be 1986-87 again, so fleer won't be printing those Michael Jordan rookies out, same goes for the 96-97 Topps Chrome Kobe, 99-00 SPx Francis, and the 69-70 Lew Alcindor. When it comes to high end rookies, a few people buy reprints, but there will always be a mega interest in the limited supply of authentic ones.

  • Yeah I think rookies will hold value pretty nice~ That's if you have the 1000 the player came out with that year. Auto's will probably do nice, I don't see kobe signing forever for upperdeck. I'm sure he will drop that contract soon. It would be good for the market if he did. Anyways thanks for your thoughts~
