Will we see a jump in PM prices later today?

With the FED meeting minutes to be released at 2:00 PM today, do you expect a jump or fall in PM prices? My gut says the minutes will confirm a good chance for QE2 to begin happening sooner than later which should translate to higher PM prices.

Thoughts?

    I just read Nadler. Government spending and defecits don't matter. Unfunded liability? No problem. Yowsers, I'm now in a big panic to sell my PM's. image

    From Nadler's article:

    As Mr. Galbraith noted, “There is nothing alarming about this. Just as the public debt can be eternal, and need never be paid off, a net debt position for Social Security and Medicare can likewise be eternal as well, since the government's net deficit is balanced by the nongovernment sector's net surplus."

    Sounds like a great way for the government to glomb onto more power whilst killing off capitalism and individual incentive by screwing the ones who actually saved for retirement. Galbraith isn't following the news about all of the pension funds who can't figure out what they are going to do with their decimated real estate and derivative portfolios and the commodity indices that are up 40% to 50% across the board just this year.

    TS is hitting TF. Ayn Rand was right. Atlas is going to "shrug". 2+2=4, regardless of what the government and Wall Street want us to think.

    The recent big run up in gold has been a direct reflection of QE2. It's baked into the price. The crappy jobs numbers give the Fed a wide berth for QE. Now it's just a matter of how big is big............MJ

    Well sure, if the Republicans get a majority it will be easier for them to get things turned around, back to where we were when the last Reublican was in office.image
    It doesn't matter who gets elected.

    Also, the possible result of November 2nd is baked in. When reality sets in come January that not much will change and higher taxes then look out below....

    I hope I'm wrong.
