Calling all Gretzky Auto Experts....

True story...I was cleaning my garage and I came upon a box my mom gave me with a bunch of old newspapers with the Challenger exploding, Nixon resigning, since I teach history, my mom thought I could use them. Well, before I moved the box out to the shed, I started to look through the pile of newspapers and inbetween was this:

My 1st question to you guys, is this a real Gretzky autograph?
2nd, I plan on selling it (if it's real) and I don't have a PSA membership, should I wait around and piggyback on someones PSA/DNA sub or should I sell it raw. What's the pros and cons of each?

Thank you for your help.

Just my uneducated opinion, but I think that may be an autopen. image

If I remember correctly, I sent off a card years ago and I am pretty sure it came back autopenned.

100% sure that what you have is an autopen.

Here is a TTM that I received earlier this year. I did not send it into PSA/DNA because a few people on this board told me it was an autopen. If I remember correctly I did a little research myself and I agreed with their opinions. Use it to compare with yours.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
