Finally finished my Roy Campanella basic set

I finally found a 1950 Bowman that had centering I could live with to finish off my first PSA registry set. It's only 11 cards but I tried to be VERY particular about eye appeal with this set. I know it's not a high grade set but I think the eye appeal makes up for the lower technical grades. You can see the completed set here. There are scans of all the cards. Here is the final one. Thanks for letting me share.

Congratulations Chris, that's a lot of well centered Campy cards. The 1954 Bowman you have is spectacular.

  • Awesome looking set; congrats on finishing! I wholeheartedly agree with Nick on the '54 Bowman. How on earth is that card only a 4? Is there something wrong with the back?

Thanks everyone! The '54 has 2 or 3 extremely small wrinkles on the right side that are fairly tough to see. If not for those it would be an 8 and maybe even a 9.

WOW CHRIS! That is an AMAZING set for the grade! I too think centering is SO IMPORTANT and you did a wonderful job finding lower graded cards that are centered very well.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Thanks again guys. I have started the master set (I'm at 60% right now). I've also started the 2007 Sweet Spot Classic memarobilia set and am considering doing either a Bob Gibson or Stan Musial set. And I've still got quite a ways to go on my Cardinal T206 set. But my budgets pretty much shot for the year. image
