Craziest thank you ever from me on these message boards (thunderdan and dalew)

Try to follow all this.
Today I received a bubble mailer in the mail that I was not expecting. The eBay seller, merritroad, is one I am currently in the middle of buying from (which made this even crazier), but have not paid yet because he had items ending all week. So I get a package today from merritroad, but it cant be mine because I havent paid yet (and I won 9 cards, not 1). I'm thinking he sent it by mistake, so I get ready to email him, and see that his name is Dale Wedge (a name I remember as he is a member here named dalew), and I see inside that he is the seller merritroad.
I also see an email in the package saying please forward this card to my friend Nick since he collects 1972s. So just as I'm getting ready to type a thank you thread to the member here named dalew I put two and two together and realize he didnt buy it from himself to send to me. I read more in the emails the seller put in my package and see that it was actually thunderdan who won the card from dalew for me, and I dont think either of them knew that all 3 of us are on CU.
A big thank you to thunderdan for his generosity, and thanks to dalew for being a good seller and doing as Dan asked him. Here is the generous gift I received.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

No I didnt bid on that because I had an 8 already in my set, but now I have a wonderful upgrade, and I will add the 8 into the lot I am selling on the BST.
I didn't know Dale was a member here. Thanks for working with me on my request, Dale.

Shocker.
Very cool Dan, good going.
<< <i>The eBay seller bid on his own auctions and won one that you were bidding on? And since he wouldn't pay himself (that would be redundant) he decided to send it to you since you bought the other 8? That's nice of him, but aren't you concerned he bid the other 8 as well? Maybe he sent that card to throw you off the trail. And if Dan knows you're a member here, why didn't he just tell you himself, instead of going through the seller? And if he forwarded it, did he still have to pay shipping twice? That seems like the Post Office is getting the short end of the stick to me if not. Maybe that's why they keep raising the rates. >>
No, but thanks for playing. We have a lovely set of mis-matched luggage for you.
