Star Wars card price through the roof!

Luke Skywalker #1

Check the above link to see how high a series 1 Star Wars card has gotten. Way higher than I ever thought they'd get.

I actually thought it would go for more. 4 Sharp Corners is really driving down prices for this set but the low pop 10's will sell pretty high until the pops rise.

I have a bunch of those cards raw in what I believe is mint condition. I now have to look at them to see if any can grab that "10".

  • Morning,
Wait another year or two until 4SC gets done with the set, that will be a $50 card!! I've watched them crap the He!! out of so many 60's sets it is terrible.

Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!
  • Hey Neil,

Does 4SC have access to large quantities of unopened non-sports cards from the 60's and 70's? Are they basically submitting and selling until the demand drops below grading fees? Just curious... I think there are a couple of sets I'd like to do someday, and it might make sense for me to let them run their course image

Hi, they are big buyers and could not care less what they do to collectors/investors.

They are in the business to sell cards, some feel they ruin sets by having so many cards of a specific set

graded, while others find it helpful. Me? I'm somewhere in the middle I suppose.

Generally the sets I collect they have no influence on. It's more of the later 60's and up that they constantly

buy, grade, rinse and repeat over and over.

    Good for you.

Wow. That is a lot of cash. As a collector, I absolutely love 4SC and their large supply of high end modern
cards at an affordable (except the low POP stuff) price. I know, some folks think otherwise. They are
in the business of selling cards and give them credit for providing collectors an opportunity to buy
    graded cards for almost anything.
