be aware they now charge NYS sales tax. I found this out just today when I paid for something.

    I don't think they do it for other states but their world coin office is now in NYC.

    Yes, JCM is correct, their World Coin Office is now in Brooklyn so all NYS people have to pay the sales tax, 8.75% in my case. Chris sent me a nice email explaining everything.

    As far as I know, it doesn't matter here. Sales tax is paid on all coins no matter the amount.

    Not quite true Don. N.Y. exempts government issued bullion coins from sales tax for transactions exceeding $1,000. (Any combination of unc. bullion coins of precious metal, i.e. American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, South African Krugerrand etc.) Sellers are required to document an exempt transaction by obtaining verifiable proof of ID.
    Proof strikes of the above are regarded as collector coins, and are not exempt.
