Cards you wish you sold, but still own.

I figure that for every card you wish you had kept, there's got to be a card you wish you unloaded at the peak of the market. Mine is the 1990 Leaf Sammy Sosa rookie PSA 10. At one point, I believe the card was around $1K, and I didn't sell!
What's yours?

Misread the title, in my defense, I've been pretty sick

I would definitely agree too.
If I were to identify some specific examples, they would include:
1994 SP Marshall Faulk PSA 10 - could have gotten $800 at one point
1995 Select Certified Terrell Davis PSA 9 - this this peaked at $125
1985 Topps McGwire PSA 8 - yeah, only an 8 but I'm pretty sure this was over $100 at the peak

At what point were Dorn Taylor or Wally Ritchie cards ever desirable enough to make someone want to hoard them?

<< <i>Anybody out there with a 1984 Fleer Update Clemens PSA 10? He can room with my 1987 Fleer Barry Bonds PSA 10.
What did the Bonds 87 fleer 10 peak at?
<< <i>One card i still have that i can think of off the top of my head is Steve Francis SP rookie. Hottest rooke that year. That card booked $300-$400 or somewhere around there. Now I can get about $1 delivered for that card >>
Well he just got arrested...maybe 50 cents now? haha
Thankfully, I have either sold or given away the vast majority of my 80's and 90's stuff. Of course I took about a 90-95% loss on my "investment", but at least they aren't taking up space in my condo.

i hate to one up you but i paid $500 for mine. i never had a chance to sell it, but that was a truly STUPID purchase on my part.
<< <i>In 2000 or 2001 I bought a 1983 Fleer Tony Gwynn in PSA 10 for somewhere in the $550 range. Wish I would have turned that puppy around immediately. Now I'd be lucky to get fifty bucks. Shoot. >>
Wow
I don't recall those ever going for that much
Do you live in SD?
They call me "Pack the Ripper"
But to stay on topic, I would say my 1987 Topps Mike Greenwells and other rookies from that set.

I listed it on eBay with a big reserve and it reached $6700.
I decided to keep it since the 93 Jeter and 94 Arod were both in the $20,000 range at the time.
Still a very tough card. Might be a HOFer. I think there are about 11 of them.
Probably couldn't get $400 for it now...
Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
