Question on eBay Stores

If I visit an eBay store do the managers know I have been there and at what items I looked ? I visited an eBay store and emailed them and asked a question. All the cards I had looked at went up a couple of dollars each overnight? Or at least I think they did. At my age I tend to forget things every once and a while. This question may sound silly but I was just wondering. I know I don't have to buy anything from them.

I clicked on a link to an ebay store. It welcomed me by name and encouraged me to browse the store. I don't know if that was something ebay did or the store owner knew who was there.

No that is just some customization which uses the ebaylogin name to be displayed. If you were a guest it would say guest

the ebay store reports provide very detailed information on what is viewed in your store, what search words were used, how people found your ebay store, how long people stayed in your store, etc. but you don't know which specific ebay members were in your store.

The seller won't know what items you looked at unless you inquired about specific cards. At the top of the description area you'll see tabs for description and shipping and payments. Just below the description tab you'll see "Last updated on..." if there were any changes made to the listing. Click on view all revisions to see what and when the changes were. Check the items you looked at to see if there were any changes. If they all have changes then click on some other stuff you didn't inquire about to see if the same changes were made to those items. Maybe everything was changed to reflect a shipping increase. There's also something called markdown manager that creates a sale for a period of time. That's pretty obvious though as you'll see the price slashed on the item page.
