US bound CAN shipments now get upgraded service from USPS

Heads up to the other Canadians on here...
I was speaking to a worker at my local post office and she said that all service levels for delivery to the US have been ungraded, at no charge. I asked her if Expedited stuff will actually get there on time now and she said the packages are getting flagged differently at the US distribution centers (which has ALWAYS been the problem, get to the boarder fast then sit in a DC after clearing customs) and she's heard good things.
Boy was she right... 72 hours to Texas, with a attempted business delivery on a Saturday.
