My first pack submission popped today.

Pretty fun to see these, it's probably going to feed the submission monster for unopened packs now, lol.

Wow Ron, great job on the 9s! image
  • Nice Submission. Quick question? Did you specify a series on your 1972 pack submission? When PSA first started grading packs I submitted a box of 1972 topps wax packs that I had. I submitted 23 packs and got 3 9's, 10 8's, 6 7's, and 2 6's and got 2 packs that came back as altered. I didn't request that they put the series on the Label, although I knew they were all from the 1st Series in 1972. For the 1972 Wax packs there isn't a huge price difference between the series packs except for the high number final series. Do you think I should resubmit the packs to PSA to have the Series # put on the packs to sell or leave them as they are? I thought PSA automatically put the Series # on the pack when I originally submitted, but have since learned otherwise.

    Ron,
I thought you were of sound mind (JUST KIDDING) ...you're venturing into unopened stuff.

Nice grades on the packs. Has PSA figured out the whole gum in the wax pack thing--ripping the pack?

  • Is it just me or does it seem that there are a ton of high grade 1975 Topps packs available?
