Anybody ever seen this 1915 coca-cola $50 coin?

The obverse gave me a 1 second thrill when I bought it with a small collection yesterday.
The color on the reverse is the same as the obverse just the lighting makes it appear different.
Obverse; United States of America-50 dollars-in god we trust
reverse; Annual convtn coca-cola bottling co. (what shall we drink! Drink coca cola 5c)
Any info would be appreciated

Most were made of brass (or a cheaper metal) which included the octagonal $50 gold Pan-Pac and early 1850s "slugs" as well.
The ANA held their annual convention for three days, during the middle of the week (Monday-Wednesday) in San Francisco during 1915 as well. As can be expected, the turnout was low and there was no room for any exhibits to be displayed.
Perhaps Mr. and Mrs. Max Mehl and their daughter drank some "cokes" and saw (or received) an imitation gold coin like the one pictured when they visited the Expo.
You can bet that San Francisco Mint Superintendant Shanahan didn't strike that one!

Yes, this one was made in the 70's where the original one does not have writing on the reverse where the owl is holding the book.
I think SCD collector has the original one
