WHAT DOES "PRICE FIRM" MEAN???

I was just wondering what this means......seems like almost everyone puts this on their post and 2 days later they write that price has been reduced..then "further" reduced...I am not the sharpest pencil in the box, so someone please explain this to me... thanks

I think it means.... this is the price I want for the card now...but I reserve the right to change my mind depending on whether anyone pays me the original price! image

Speaking strictly for myself, it means that I'm not currently entertaining offers. In other words, the price is as posted. Of course, everything is subject to change.
