Seller Not Accepting Paypal at this time? What does that mean?

Won an auction last night and when I tried to pay for it I got this response..."The seller cannot receive payments through PayPal at this time". The seller has perfect feedback 90+ and states he accepts paypal. Has anyone had any experience with this in the past?

    Sounds like he has some issues with paypal to resolve at this point and time..............i would email seller asap if you have not already. Probably not a big deal.

    The title implies that the seller won't accept PP, the text implies that PP has somehow suspended his account.

    I would think (hope) that if PP suspends a seller while auctions are going on Ebay would cancel them.

    Does the seller accept another form of electronic payment?

    I agree that an email to the seller is in order here.

    Emailed seller and he replied that indeed Paypal had suspended his account and he is trying to set up a merchant account. So I will wait.
