Phishing email- eBay ProStores

I know it's a legitimate product, but I got an email asking me to join that threw up a couple of red flags, so I thought I'd pass it along. The email claims it's from eBay but doesn't have the 'Ebay sent this message to' my real name message, and isn't in my messages in 'My eBay'. It has several links that go directly to an eBay login page. Again, this might be a legitimate email, but it seems to be skipping some of the keys that eBay says would make it genuine...

Thanks for forwarding the suspicious email you received.

The email is a spoof, also known as a "phishing," email. (That's phishing, as in "fishing" for personal information.) It didn't come from eBay. Our Trust & Safety team is working to disable any websites it links to.

Remember that you can always check the My Messages section of My eBay to see if a message from us is legitimate. Copies of any emails we send you about the status of your account or a change in your account information will be displayed in My Messages. This is especially helpful since many spoof emails try to convince you that your account is in jeopardy.

I keep the address Spoof@eBay.com in my address book and just forward them to them. Never click on any links if you are not positive where the email came from.

Ebay had a big campaign warning people and advertising the spoof#@ebay.com a few years ago. I'm surprised they are not pushing it like they used to.

I delete all that stuff in my emails and only use the web site. If they sent it to your
email it will be in your messages at eBay also. I got so many @spoof email address
save because of all the place that trys that crap and it helps to send that stuff in.
