Well it's official my Son who's 4 3/4 year old just saw his first coin on this board that he's actually commented on as liking.
As normally he's more interested in the cats and dogs that are posted or used as avatars... or asks if all this money can be used at MC Donalds
So he saw the following coin below and said "Wow Dad that a Very Pretty Penny"

Daddy is going to have to spend more time with you teaching you about the different denominations............can you say "DE-NOM-I-NAT-IONS"?
<< <i>And a mighty big penny it is Broadstruck Jr.

Been working with him as he likes to dump out his piggy bank and separate and group all the different coins.
He does have his father's eye for quality, I must say!
This penny has a pretty turkey on it.

Actually, for a 4 3/4 year old, that's pretty good. Now teach him the different words like, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar.
Before you know it, he'll be putting your change from your pockets into one of those piggy banks that separate coins into the different denominations.
Keep up the good work Broadstruck
Lance.
<< <i>I can see you've taught him to the extent of your ability...
Spetty, Your sarcasm lately has been Top Notch!
<< <i>Did you ask him what he thought of the star or sticker?
He liked the color and as far as the rest I'm sure he'd prefer a SpongeBob Squarepants sticker to CAC!

I'm going to take him with me to the next local smaller show as I normally spin through these in 15 minutes and that's about his maximum attention span.
He doesn't like red copper as I showed him some pre civil war type today and it was not his fancy. When I asked why, he said it needs polkadots!
