Nice Flea Market find....Mickey Mantle Game.

Went to a local flea market today and found this. It was not a steal but I think I did pretty good on the price. I should probably be able to get a little over double what I paid if I were to sell on ebay or wherever. Its been a long time between buys like this.
The box has light writing on it along with some stains and tape on one corner but still in decent shape. The playing field with his profile is really nice , free of any marks. There are two game cards, a front and back are shown. One is creased and the other is not and in very good shape. The 7x9 photo has a few small creases or indents but has a great appearance. It also has three green, two red and 1 yellow pegs and a colored die in a plastic tube. I am not sure if this is all the pieces or not but overall I think I did well.
Thanks,
Bob

I think ya did well Bob.
I thought I'd come in this one and share what I have on this game to others here.
First - there's a web that has this game copyrighted 1962 - I think it's more like 1957 - will explain why in a second.
On the parts - here's a list as I know it - if I get anything different, I'll post.
Scan of parts:
The colored die is the "key" item missing from the game along with the Mantle photo which is usually sold separately or lost since it wound up on the wall of a kid's room.
Another item missing from games is the "Stat Sheet" - if ya notice this one has stats up to 1956 - that's why I would date the game as late 1956 or 1957.
I found someone selling this game with a stat sheet thru 1958 - so it can be deduced that they were updating the stat sheet each year of production - some say this game was produced into the early 60s; that I'm not really sure.
For a Mantle fan - this is one of the premier games - and if Bob puts it up on ebay? It will get some attention. The cover being a bit marred will detract a bit. If I had to take a stab at a hammer? $150.
Just gonna throw this out there to those who read this thread, I need that little red dice shaker that Stone posted a pic of. That is the only piece I am missing in my game. If anyone here has one and wants to sell or trade that piece, drop me a PM please!
Thanks for sharing that info Mike.
