Allright guys I am looking at selling a bunch of Australian Sterling Silver Coins (and some very nice 1966 80% 50 cent coins) to acquire a 1/2 oz of gold. This is a huge lot with tons of coins of which I have no time to search for specific rare dates so this is essentially unsearched by me. Except for a couple of coins from the 1800's which I did look up and really have no need to keep them to sell as single, these I will will throw in as well.
I acquired these coins when i took my trip to Perth back in January and I must say there are lots of nice coins in the batch and the 66s have some nice luster to them. A lot of the three pence coins are nice and shiny.
I am looking to sell all the coins in one batch. Hell I'll even throw in the canvas bag they came in from National Australia Bank. Here is the breakdown of all the coins in this huge lot:
14- 1966 50 Cents
7- Florins (years are 1910, 1922 (two of them), 1927, 1941, 1942, 1944)
12- One shilling (all are prior to 1944 and sterling silver)
162- Six Pence (all are prior to 1944 and sterling silver)
277- Three Pence (all are prior to 1944 and sterling silver)
The total calculated weight from counting all the coins is the equivalent to 34.3543 troy ounces of .999 silver as shown on the website http://www.australian-threepence.com/silver-coin-values/australian-silver-coin-values.htm
Im selling the entire lot for 75 cents under current spot price or I can trade all the coins for a 1/2 oz Krugerrand, Maple or Eagle. Im not making any profit on this, matter of fact using the current ratio of trading silver for gold I would be loosing a few ounces of silver.
If youre interested in making a deal please send me a PM. Also please have reliable feedback such as deals on here or Ebay.
Thanks...
