What does a Proof Like Mercury Dime look like?

Especially out in the fields? Will you see tons of small die polish in the fields? Are they usually double struck with very very distinct details? I have never seen one untill maybe this afternoon.
Thanks in advance.

Truthfully, a couple of dates in the early 40s do qualify sometimes and I think only NGC has been known to note it on the holder.
I am sure others will chime in to correct me if I am wrong on any of this.
As for what the look like...I am going to guess "shiny with some contrast for slightly mirrored fields".

They shouldn't have die lines or polish marks. They should resemble proofs of the 1950's. Very few have cameo appearance.
I have seen (I own one) some regular issue coins that would almost pass for proofs they are polished so much.
My 1941-S looks more like a proof than my 1942 proof.
Here is an PR63 1942
Here is my MS66FB 1941-S

What do you mean by "They shouldn't have die lines or polish marks"? They in fact, often do, and that doesn't mean they're not Prooflike.
<< <i>Just realized about the whole PL thing...
ROFL......
Now post a prooflike picture.

Mark for clarification.
The Proof Coins shouldn't have polish marks; the proof likes do indeed have polish lines throughout.

Tony, your original response threw me, because the OP had asked about PL's, not Proofs.
