Some more advice needed

Since I'm new here, im trying to milk you all for as much advice as i can...

I have a couple core sets that I work on graded, but i want to build some ungraded/low quality sets to put in binders.

Which 1950s sets (bowman or topps baseball) would you recommend to build raw? I don't want to spend toooo much money on this, so cost and set size are important.

    1958 or 1959 are incredibly cheap in low grade.
