I was actually going to post this ast night and when I saw barefootjuans post, I did not want to step on his thread, but his problem is similar to mine.
I sold a coin on the 13th and after 2 emails and 2 invoices, I have neither received payment nor received any communication from the person who purchased (ie, won the bidding....he ain't bought it yet!) the coin. This guy has 345 Pos feedback since Jan 2010, and of course it is 100% because he has only bought coins, never sold a thing (0 feedback as a seller). I opened a case as an unpaid item, because in checking his feedback, he has paid for several coins in auctions he won AFTER winning my auction. That kinda tells me he isnt sick, had to go out of town, ran into financial difficulty, etc, etc. I guess my question is: is it ever right to phone the guy (his phone # appears in the sales screne with his address) or should I just let it ride out with eBay and see what happens? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

<< <i>Let the dispute take care of it. He has opportunity during process to still pay for coin if he wants it. Sometimes the dispute motivates buyers to pay. >>
I'd agree. Unless you think the buyer decided not to pay and that you can talk him out of that decision, I don't think a phone call will help much.

they will pay when/if they feel like it -
<< <i>Don't waste your time with a phone call. If this guy has ignored two invoices and two additional contact attempts, he doesn't deserve the consideration. File the strike, block, and move on. >>
Couldn't have said it better myself.
