Question about fingerprints on cards.

Hi - just curious. Is there anyway to remove a fingerprint on a card? I just got a sweet card. It could be a psa 10 if it weren't for this fingerprint on the card. I bought the card from someone on ebay. The fingerprint isn't mine. Would it be similar to wax removal with the old stocking trick? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its a shiny new card topps 2010. Not a chrome card though. Cotton shirt? Would that work better then a stocking?

Not sure if it's better than a stocking. I had to stop wearing those and throw them out after my last arrest

One of the best items to use for removing fingerprints from just about any surface is an old style cotton diaper. image

I will try stocking first then cotton shirt. Hopefully it won't just make a smear on the card...
  • Update: I used a stocking lightly in circle motion as if I were cleaning off wax from a card. Fingerprint is completely gone and no smearing or scratches.

    Thank you everyone!
