When I has 13 I sent it to the Bulls corporate offices and attn Michael Jordan with self addressed stamped return shipping. About four or five months later I went and got the mail and there is was. It is on my wall and I am looking at it right now. With it came this white piece of paper that said compliments of Air Jordan.
Some day I may send it in to get authenticated to see if it was MJ or someone signing for him.
Good luck with your auto pics.
Mike
I just pulled mine off the wall and the Michael is much longer and a much cleaner signature. The other problem is the fading sharpie.
Navarro is the resident auto expert so I doubt he is wrong.
Good luck.
Sorry

<< <i>Honest mistake but one that comes down to a little research but the bright side is that you've learned from it. The generic COAs and print runs of 5,000 are other big red flags besides the signatures looking bad. >>
I agree...One of the dis-services the hobby made at one time was perpetuating the thought that if an item had a COA, it had to be good. (Rather than trying to educate the public that a so called COA is really only as good of the reputation of the issuer)
<< <i>Besides the autos not quite looking right I would think Upper Deck would be the only company selling Jordan autos during the time frame of 6 time champs. I haven't heard of Jordan signing with any other company since he went with UD and have no idea what he mightve signed before this >>
This poster is correct, Jordan has been exclusive with Upper Deck for a long, long time. I have 2 UDA Jordan autos and they look different than those plaques. If you want to purchase an authentic Jordan auto, I would get one that comes with a COA & matching hologram from Upper Deck. And you are correct in saying that some certificates of authenticity are bad. If you want to get into collecting autographed memorabilia, I would stick to items that come with COA & matching holograms/stickers from the following companies: Upper Deck, Steiner, Mounted Memories, Tri-Star, GTSM, PSA/DNA, and JSA.
