Crossover Question Help Please

I just wanted to know if anyone has ever sent in a card to PSA for a crossover and asked for a minimum which was HIGHER than the SGC grade, and received it? IE either having a SGC 8 and getting a PSA grade coming back higher than 8 or sending in a SGC 8 and putting minimum of 8.5 and getting a PSA 8.5. Thanks.

To request a higher minimum grade I think you would have to be silly. I have never requested a higher grade and have "NEVER" received a higher grade than the crossover submitted. I have never even heard of a card of value receiving a higher grade on a crossover sub.

I have recieved SGC 92(8.5) on a handful of PSA 8 I crossed for my 1971 Topps football set.
I request Min Grade of 8 on them.

Although more often than not most PSA 8's are to weak on the corners to pass to SGC 88.

Crack them then send them in. I sent in a few 1963 bazooka ATG's in a group sub ; 2 came back the same grade, 4 1 grade higher and 2 1.5-2 grades higher.

I would recommend cracking first.

I had a PSA 7 I crossed to SGC, requested minimum grade of 7, came back 8. Looks better in new slab. I think they switched cards on me when I wasn't looking.
