1955 Brooklyn Dodger Golden Book

I need help with this one.Years back I purchased a 1955 Brooklyn Dodger Golden Book thats in beautiful condition with the stamps still together on the sheets.I see that there are a few sets listed on the Registry however I am not sure how easy they are to take apart since there is a border that goes around the entire page of Stamps.I do do want to ruin them because I plan to have them graded. The Stamps are beautiful.

Any ideas out there????I would apreciate it.

Thanks

    Keep it complete IMO.

The complete book will always be scarcer than the punched out stamps. And the book will be getting far scarcer over the years to come as well.

So many greedy slab collectors are destroying these original unused items for the graded card hype, that the complete books are becoming far scarcer over these last 20 years.

If the book is damaged thats a different story, but in reality the stamps are all low value except the Koufax, JRoby, and a couple others.

I agree with fkw except for the greedy slab collector part. In raw form you see a lot more singles than you do the whole sheet so singles were invented and collected long before there was grading. If somebody wants to have the whole sheet in their collection, or collect them in single graded or ungraded form then that's their choice. If the reason for saving the sheet is for increased scarcity and therefore value in the future then that too is collecting with investment in mind.

I agree with keeping it the way it is.

Tho there wouldn't be anything wrong with pulling them and having them graded. Just a preferrence I guess.
