How do dealers get their cards to these national shows?

Do most dealers drive all their cards to the shows? Some dealers have a fairly extensive inventory.

I'm referring to a dealer in CA going to Chicago or another great distance. I can't imagine putting expensive PSA cards in check in luggage on a plane.

This must be fairly difficult either way.

i'd imagine if they had that much stuff, they'd need to hire a freight carrier to do the job.

or just get a U-Haul for the drive.

I have sold quite a few cases like the one below to some of the major dealers in the dealer network. In most cases these dealers are only purchasing 2 or 3 cases from me, but I have sold as many as 8 to one big name dealer. I get a mixed bag on whether they fly to shows or drive to shows.

When I did nationals, if it was 700 miles or less , I rented a cargo van/U-haul and drove. if it was 700+ miles, I shipped UPS usually 3 day select or 2 day air to the motel and then loaded up the rent a van. I also had a carry on bag that had the most expensive single cards.

then when leaving ship it all back UPS.

Great cases! Just wish I had a handle on mine!!! But I'll blame that on Navarro for holding back the better one . . .
