Given the condition of the card I don't think Dan was wrong. There is a fish-eye, horrible rough cut, and a blue mark on the back -- the card is seen by many collectors as NM at best -- and others as Mint.
I'm going to have to disagree with something. A couple have said that in the first print run the fisheye is supposed to be there. When one says that it's supposed to be there you are saying the company wanted it in the picture....."NO" it's a print flaw. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be a 8 or 9 because the fisheye is commonly found ; but not supposed to be there.
Knowing SGC and what is said about the print runs...I'm surprised they give 9's to the 1st print run.

I thought it had a shot at a 9...I'm glad SGC agreed!
As for the fisheye.....to me, it just matches the diagnostic white dot on Wayne's left shoulder, and evens-out the appearance.
