Ok, when you start reprinting old players on 1987 Topps cards, you've gone too far.
Don't get me wrong, I love Topps Heritage. Topps Heritage reprints old formats with newer players. I get it and absolutely love it. It's one set per year. I don't mind the Allen and Ginter and Topps 206. All of that is fine and dandy. However, I am sick and tired of seeing the hoard of "reprints" of players in old Topps style formats.
When you take a 1987 Topps design and put Cy Young on it, I think you've gone way too far. When 2036 Topps Heritage comes out featuring the 1987 Topps design, that will be ok. (However, as a side note, I think that year should be EXTREMELY limited to offset the millions of unopened boxes of the real 1987 Topps that will still be around, but that is another issue).
Heck, I even kind of like the regular Topps SP variations with older players. I think that is kind of neat. BUT - we are being bombarded with cards like "Cards That Your Mom Threw Out". I doubt your mom threw out a 2005 Topps Andre Either.
Bottom line - I am just sick to death of the bombardment of "reprints".
Here is the Cy Young I was talking about.

<< <i>I'll never forget all the money I invested in Kurt Stillwell, Ruben Sierra, Cy Young and Danny Tartabull RCs. >>
That's nothing - I think I bypassed dusty boxes of '87 fleer basketball to blow $15 on a Jerome Walton rc.
