1964 rub-off on back of topps card and its impact on grading

Does anyone knw what the impact of the rub-off on the back of 1964 Topps baseball cards has on PSA grading. In other words, if the answer to the question is rubbed off with a coin does it diminish the card's value and lower the grade? Thanks for the information in advance.

From what I understand PSA does not lower the grade, unless of course it was rubbed really

hard and has paper loss. AS for value IMO some care and some do not.

    Hope that helps.

I had several really sharp commons come back 2 grades lower than I expected----the only thing I could find was the cartoon in the rub-off areas showed through and they weren't even rubbed off. They just showed through naturally.

The two Rub-offs I submitted came back grade well below what I would have thought. I compared them to others I have seen and just cannot figure it out. image
