I heard from the owner that this site is partially back on line after a legal infringement with Amos Press.

I wonder if Amos Press is going to go after the US Post Office as they use Scott #'s in their guide?

    1847USA is indeed back on line and using the United States Numbering system. Although the US numbering system appears identical it is slightly different and as the owner of the site states - it is public domain. He intends to refine and add to the US numbering system. AMOS may have just stabbed themselves in the foot when it comes to the average collector. I feel confident that the big money will always use Scott.
