Any Sportlot users?

I have been told about this site called Sportlot, But how will it work for sales and payment?
The site says just one payment, Do you just pay Sportlot and they pay the sellers? If you can help me understand that place would be a big help.

Yes. For a buyer, lets say you purchase cards from 8 people. You make a single payment to sportlots and sportlots divvies the money up amongst the sellers per your purchase after removing the paypal fees. The paypal fees are actually a bit lower because of this as compared to ebay's paypal fees. Not alot, but possibly 1% depending on how much you sell.
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

I've had nothing but good experience with sportlots. For new cheap cards it's much better than ebay.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • you can pay by check or money order, they put your order on hold(no one can take your cards)till payment is finalized.i believe you have 2-3 weeks.much better for sellers as paypal fees are split ,depending on how many sellers you order from at that time.the sellers fee schedule is also lower than ebay.on any card over $2.50 always ask for a scan(if there is none) and feel free to haggle(they have a make offers screen).the worst is they say no.

George, I've done a couple dozen different orders over the years with them - never had a problem. You'll notice that many sellers have pretty low shipping - they often ship in a PWE for the price, but I've never had an issue there either.

Not bad for set completing. Try to buy from as few sellers as possible to save on shipping. Just a suggestion.
