help attributing Istros please

Could someone please help me out here? I just bought an Istros and the attribution that was listed on the flip doesn't seem to match a few that were listed with that number that I fumble to online(I don't have the proper research material yet). It has SNG BM 248 var. listed on it. Any other comments welcomed also....thanks.
