Alex Rodriguez auto authenticity question

Hi, i bought this photo several years ago off of ebay. The picture comes with a coa from mounted memories. The coa is a flimsy tan colored paper coa instead of their newer ones i see on ebay. I wanted to sell this as im getting more into cards than memorabilia, but im unsure to its authenticity. Did A-rod change his signature? Ive looked at psa dna examples and it just doesn't match. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

  • Arod has numerous autograph styles throughout the years.

Your photo is good. PM a price your looking to get for it.
  • The photo should have a Mounted Memories hologram on it, so that makes me a little suspicious. Plus, the auto looks different than any other ARod auto I've seen, but it could just be an early sig that I'm not familiar with.

Below is a certified early Arod auto. It looks nothing like the one the OP has. Plus, I ahve never seen one signed "Al".

    +1
  • Mounted Mem. is a good company however the COA could have been supplied with a bogus item swapped by someone else.
Any team on any given Sunday, can beat any other team...unless they were playing the Miami Dolphins in 1972.

I've seen a few through the years. Let me see if I can find some examples. The card you posted was issued in 1994. The image in the OP's photo was taken in 95 which is identifiable because of the 75th anniversary Negro League patch, which means the photo was signed sometime in 95 or after that. Mounted Memories didn't start using holograms until 2000+. Arod is the absolute worst when it comes to signing an autograph because he has what appears to be 3-5 different styles every year. I personally would be confident purchasing or selling this item.
