Legal action - Ebay help

I know there are some Ebay experts on here.
I need help on a non payer. issue.
I realize I can recover my fees from Ebay if someone doesn't pay.
My question is what course of action do I have if it was a time sensitive item like tickets and
now I can't resell them.
The buyer knew my terms in the listing. Sent me a message after the auction saying payment was coming,
arranged shipping details to get them in time and then stopped all communication.
Is there any way to recover the cost of the tickets through Ebay or any other way to go after them.
The Seller needs some justice !!!

Thanks to anyone that can help.
I won't be able to check back online until around 10 p.m. EST.

Can't give you any legal advise or help in trying to recoup your $$$. However, maybe in future auctions, you should include "immediate payment required, or item will be relisted one hour after close of auction"...or words to the effect. Since your itme is time sensitive, I don't see how you could go wrong with that caveat. You may also want to search eBay to see how other sellers protect themselves when selling similar items.

    Stubhub next time.

It is a big upgrade over ebay for peace of mind while selling tickets. Bummer.

I used to sell tickets and that scared me every time. A big game ticket just a couple of days prior is worth alot of money; but you could always have a jerk bidder who will screw you. Plus alot of bidders are just people who decide to go to the game and look on Ebay--they have 0 feedback. I sold to a bunch of people with 0 feedback. I never got screwed; but have had to send tickets on the promise of payment which they came through on. My favorite was driving to meet people to exchange money for tickets.---not fun because you don't know what to expect. I always had a back up plan- I was going to go to the games anyway. I would have brought the tickets myself to the arena. I think on something time sensitive...ebay should make the buyer comply with all of the terms of the seller//no exceptions.
