Finally found a "High End" 8 of a 1964 Mays

The 64 Mays is one of those cards that never looks good even in an 8. It's either dull, slightly o/c, faded badly on the back or surface issues on the front background. Well, I've finally found one that is really strong. It's not perfect; but about the best I've seen in an 8. I think it would crush the 8.5 up on EBAY.

Very strong 8 indeed.

Yes it will be reviewed in the near future. I have not sent many in for review; but this card needs a chance to be separated from the pack of dull 8's. I've owned a bunch and this is the best by far. The back is nice and really well centered also.

The reverse on that card IIRC does not have the scratch off question so no problem there.
Thanks for sharing.

Very slight snow. Scanner enhances it.
Nice card Mickey.

Here's my old '64 Mays. I scanned this with my original HP scanner
a long time ago. I had this one in my collection for many years, even when it was raw.
I sold it to my buddy who got it bumped
to an 8.5. I have no idea where the card is now. I wish I had it back
in my collection.
