Has anyone ever won anything from american memorabilia?

I was looking at their site and found something of intrest. I haven't bid on any of their items in the past and the only thread I found was from over a year ago. It was about them not paying the consigners. If anyone ever bought/won anything in the past how was your experience?

I have won from them in the past, but totally stopped bidding on them when I saw that they stopped paying their consignors. As far as I am concerned, that is the one cardinal sin that an auction house CAN NOT do!!! I count myself lucky to get the few things I won from them.......
  • I had heard that they are slow payers so I would not consign anything. However, I have purchaed a few items from them and have never had a problem receiving items. They are fast to ship and their shipping costs are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recomend bidding with them.

  • There site is 100% now. They owed me a lot of money but paid in full. They now allow you to list your item & get paid directly from buyer so you are guaranteed to get your money.

    Best regards!

Won a few things in the past. That experience showed me I have absolutely no need or reason to ever deal with them again.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Be very cautious if buying game worn or game used items from them. They tend to rubber stamp items then hide behind the "no returns" policy. They've stuck quite a few with bad or misrepresented items.
