Double tailed quarter!

Well, not a legit one, but it's still cool nonetheless. Sorry that I don't have pics, but my coworker just brought it up to me and said her husband got it in change and wondered if she could retire. She knew it was fake though...when she dropped it on a countertop it sounded REALLY off. It took me awhile to find a seam though...very well done.
I told her not to spend it and that she should mess with her kids with it... "Fine, heads you watch TV, tails you clean your bedroom." HAHAHA

Yep, that's where the seam is...difficult to see with the naked eye.

For the record, I never wondered if the coin was a real error...I knew it was a magician's coin and was just sharing with the forum that it showed up in my friend's change. Thought it was sort of odd, so I shared...

Interesting story and thanks for sharing it. We never thought that you didn't know what it is---you've been here long enough to know exactly what it is but the information I was sharing was for any new forum members who may not be familiar with these coins. It's not unusual for one of these two headed or two tailed coins to make their way into circulation and when someone finds it they think they found something very valuable.
