Opinion question...

I am not actually selling these but rather asking a question about them to gauge random interest. I have a chance to buy some Authentic MLB jerseys at a fair price. They normally have a "retail" price of around $150 +/- in the stores. Normally I think that is a high price and would not be a buyer. Would selling them at $50 (new with tags, etc) peak peoples interest? Any opinions?

Don't be so confident they are legit.
I have a friend that used to get his from PA (the home of all things fake or resealed) and sell them online. Turns out they were the fake Japanese ones that look identical to the legit ones. No BS, he is awaiting trial.
I think the site name is jerseydirect that sells the same jerseys that you can't tell if they are real or fake. Their prices range from $20-60 depending on who you buy and how many.

These are direct from manufacturer, I worked there 20 years ago when all they made were the BP jerseys. I still know people there.

Mainly current players, small amount of the Cooperstown collection is available too I believe.
My father in law buys the China made jersey's. He pays 20 dollars each for the football and baseball ones. If he and his friends buy 10 or more shipping is free. When he told me about this I thought yeah right these are probally junk. So he ships one to my son who is a huge Vikings fan and I couldn't believe how good this jersey looked. Every thing is a patch and even had the viking head patch on the back. Just like an authentic that sells for $200+ in a store.

Yea because that's exactly what we need to be doing, supporting the Chinese even more than we are. Wake up people!

With what I am seeing so far these work out to be around $25 a piece shipped. Why would I want to walk into a US store and pay 4 to 6 times that for the same quality item? I don't mind supporting the global economy.
